Following the Philosophy of Quality Instead of Quantity
Owned by the Conti Family, the Ceresa Winery is situated near the tower of San Martino, on the outskirts of the town of Pozzolengo. It is precisely residing on the southern side of charming Lake Garda and a short drive away from Sirmione motorway exit. For over 30 years, the Conti Family is producing the highest quality wines, paying utmost attention to the quality and not quantity.
Changing the Name to Cantine Ceresa
Cantina Ceresa was founded by Andrea Conti. Along with his wife Grazia, he dedicated himself to the passion and love for producing luscious wines. Initially, the winery has a zootechnical orientation, and then after acquiring more land, the former owner established a new winery with the name – Cantina Ceresa. Today, Massimo, along with his wife Francesca, handles the administration of the winery. Massicmo follows in his father’s footsteps at Cantine Ceresa and produces top quality Lugana wines. Between 2016 and 2017, Massimo started producing a new line of products with new labels by combining latest methods of viticulture and ancient grape farming techniques. Today, Ceresa Winery is surrounded by olive groves and vineyards that are expanded over a land of 10 hectares.
Enjoy a Tasting of Great Lugana and Chardonnay of the Region
In the family-owned vineyards, Massimo grows a variety of grapes cultivating high-quality vines, such as Turbiana di Lugana, Chardonnay, and Garganega, in combination with Rondinella and Merlot. These grapes are processed in the ancient cellar to produce delicious wines like red, white and rose wines, along with super-quality sparkling wines, all made under the Lugana and Garda DOC status. The underground cellar at Ceresa Winery has stone walls that provide a perfect temperature for aging and refining of wines in the old wooden barrels.
