This area is steeped in rich folklore, featuring tales of bandits and Janare dancing under the shade of ancient walnut trees. Since 2009, we have been dedicated to producing wine, guided by a simple yet profound philosophy: to use only our own grapes.
The secret to exceptional wines lies in the vineyard. At Cantina Fosso Degli Angeli, we prioritize the health of our vines and the integrity of the land. Our vineyards thrive on calcareous clay soils, situated at an average elevation of 450 meters above sea level. We carefully manage our grape yield, maintaining it between 50 to 70 quintals per hectare. This is achieved through precise winter pruning and the selective removal of excess bunches, ensuring that we start with the highest quality fruit for our wines.

Fosso degli Angeli is a family-run winery that grows only native vines and olive cultivars. Organic by vocation, they love their land and jealously protect it. All their care and expertise can be found in the quality of the wines and extra virgin olive oil, intense, complex, enveloping, healthy and genuine products! Anyone who wants to discover "Campania Felix" cannot ignore a cellar like this, it is really worth planning a stop in Casalduni during a trip to the region! With the wines of Fosso degli Angeli it was love at first sight, during a tasting some time ago. For me, not as an expert, but as an enthusiast, among the best expressions of Campania whites, and in particular of the classic native Sannio vines, Falanghina, Fiano, Greco. Fragrant wines that envelop you in a sensation of pleasantness, and which at the end of the sip turn into a fine and refreshing savory note. Among the reds, the Sciascianoso is a surprise, fresh and very pleasant. Among all, a weakness for Macerese. Wines that express the territory, but above all the passion and love for the territory, on the part of those who produce them with great competence.

For us it was the icing on the cake of a nice mini holiday in an area plagued by undeserved fame. I add, a little off topic and I apologize, that in this Earth we have found immense courtesy, helpfulness and many people with big hearts. Very warm and hospitable welcome at this organic wine estate. Have tasted many wines and they were delicious. The nice thing was that they were all made from a single grape variety. We left with a box full. Highly recommended.
