Cantina Turus: A Winemaking Legacy

Situated in Mossa, in the picturesque Friuli-Venezia Giulia region of Italy, Cantina Turus is a charming winery founded by Simone Turus. Originally trained as a butcher, Simone shifted his focus to winemaking, leading to the establishment of this unique winery. Since its inception, Cantina Turus has adhered to traditional winemaking practices, emphasizing a natural approach that relies on spontaneous fermentation using native yeasts. The winery takes pride in crafting wines with minimal intervention, allowing the true essence of the grapes to shine through.

The Gold of Attila: A Taste of History

Cantina Turus offers a diverse selection of wines, including Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc, Carménère, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Traminer, and the local Tocai Friulano grapes. Meravigliosa esperienza

It is evident how his commitment and dedication are the beating heart of every bottle produced. His deep knowledge of the territory and its peculiarities is reflected in every wine we had the pleasure of tasting. The tasting was a crescendo of flavors and sensations. We began with the Malvasia, a white wine with a decisive and aromatic character that perfectly expressed the peculiarities of the grape variety. The Traniner, another exceptional white, then captured our senses with its freshness and complexity. The tasting journey continued with a sparkling wine, perfect for those who love delicate yet full of personality bubbles. His Oro di Attila, a golden wine rich in nuances, surprised us with its depth and balance. A dive into the winery's reds was a must, and the Pinot Noir proved to be a true revelation. Elegant and structured, it displayed all its finesse with fruity notes and soft tannins. Finally, the grand finale was the tasting of the Oro Rosso, a wine that encapsulates the power and passion of the territory, with a persistence that left a lasting impression. I highly recommend this experience to anyone who wishes to get to know the authenticity of Collio wines up close, guided by the passion and expertise of a true wine artisan.)
