A Family Winery in the Heart of Monferrato, Piedmont
The Bonzano Family
Brothers Enrico, Stefano, and Massimo Bonzano, along with Simonetta Ghia, Enrico’s wife, have dedicated themselves to revitalizing the viticulture of their region. The winemaking tradition at Tenuta Mandoletta dates back to the early 1800s. Under the guidance of oenologist Donato Lanati, the Bonzano brothers have initiated an ambitious project to enhance the estate's vineyards. Simonetta, passionate about the world of wine, has played a crucial role in promoting this family endeavor, deeply rooted in the hills of Rosignano Monferrato.
Majestic Vineyards of Bonzano Vini
Since acquiring the property in the 1990s, the Bonzano family has worked diligently to restore its historical gardens. In 2011, they replanted the vineyards, which now span 20 hectares in the picturesque Monferrato landscape. The region's clay-rich soil, primarily composed of glauconitic clay, is formed from ancient sea beds, providing an ideal environment for grape cultivation.
The Unique Logo of the Labels
The Bonzano Vini logo reflects a blend of tradition and modernity. It features a sundial from the Mandoletta's façade intertwined with a family tree, symbolizing the passage of time, seasonal cycles, and family heritage. Each wine label tells a story, showcasing the unique personality of the wines while honoring the family's legacy.
