Casa Di Baalvia Tiziano: Artisan Wines from Campania

We visited the house of Hannibal (Baal) and his family and were pleasantly impressed by the welcome of his daughter Nadia! At the beginning of the tour, Nadia told us in detail the history of the company, the vineyards and olive trees on the estate, accompanied by an excellent glass of “Mossa” from Baal. We continued the visit in the wine cellar where we were explained the methods of winemaking and the philosophy and thoughts behind each wine. We then continued with the tasting of the wines, the extra virgin olive oil they produce and other local culinary specialties in the vineyard (of roses). At the end of the tasting, we couldn't resist purchasing five of their wines, an absolute must in the wine cellar for special occasions!

We had a wonderful visit to this super family-oriented small winery, complete with beautiful olive trees. The tour was very informative, and the tasting, accompanied by ham, salami, and cheese, was simply fantastic. What a unique experience on our way to Naples. I highly recommend stopping by!

The visit to the Casa di Baal winery was an exceptional experience. From the moment we arrived, we were met with kindness and hospitality. The surroundings of the estate were breathtakingly beautiful. We were particularly impressed by their focus on sustainability and organic principles. The activities were both fun and educational. The staff's passion and knowledge about their work shone through and made the visit even more memorable. Casa di Baal receives our warmest recommendations.

My wife and I came across it purely by chance through a Smartbox. A real surprise. Family-run company founded by Annibale, involving his three children and his wife, who despite her age is very active and has played a very important role in the management (we met her as soon as we arrived to greet us and she was certainly not dressed like a company manager, quite the opposite). Nadia (one of the three children working in the company) accompanied us on this pleasant and very interesting visit among the olive trees and vines, explaining to us how everything we saw and the variety of their production came about. However, the company is based on oil and wine. The Baal House is autonomous and its production originates in these lands, producing a finished product without any external steps. This is important for keeping costs low despite what we believe to be the high quality of the products. We then took part in a wine tasting and tasted the oil produced there. The tasting consisted of tasting some wines, bread with oil, tomatoes and vegetables, always fruits of their land. It left us completely satisfied and made us want to return to the old flavors. That is why we recommend a visit to the House of Baal, where courtesy, professionalism, love and kindness make a beautiful marriage.

Availability, courtesy, professionalism and much more distinguish this company. Walking through the olive grove and vineyard while tasting one of their excellent wines and listening to the history of their company was truly beautiful. Furthermore, the dishes paired with their wines and oil were exquisite. Congratulations again, I highly recommend.

Very enjoyable tour of their wine and olive farm! The tasting was great. They also grow their own fruits and vegetables for their family and the San Marzano tomatoes they grow were the tastiest I’ve ever had!!

A very nice family owned vineyard, Laura was a perfect hostess and of course the rest of the family. They make almost everything on the farm. We got a selection of food and wine which was perfect. Bought a couple of bottles to bring home. Would absolutely recommend!

Amazing family owned winery that has everything farmed naturally and organically within their own premise. The lovely Francesca showed us a wonderful time around the olive trees, natural produce and grapes. We tasted their wine which was fabulous and had amazing tomatoes and cheese to pare it with. It was super cute and simple! The overall experience still has a lot of its family character! You feel that you’ve entered an Italian farm home and welcomed by a family household. At the end you are greeted by a beautiful family dogs who I fell in love with ❤️

Guided tour + tasting: fantastic experience. The tour, led by the kind sisters Francesca and Nadia, allowed us to learn not only about the various processes, walking among the vineyards, olive trees and the cellar, but also about an exemplary company/family reality, in which organic is the core of both the production of excellent oil and excellent wine but also of the lifestyle. And it was precisely with the tasting that we were able to see how much commitment and passion there is behind it. In addition to the white wine and the Aglianico, we were offered all products made strictly at home and with the products of their own farm, from bread with extra virgin olive oil, to cured meats and biscuits. I absolutely recommend it for anyone who wants to spend a couple of hours in the peace of nature!
