Cascina Lana Winery Goes A Long Way Back

Cascina Lana Winery was initiated when the Baldizzone family purchased land in 1937. The winery was taken over by son from father in the 1970’s and we can still see the adventure their journey of winemaking has been to this day with their love of their territory and passion for wine.

Winery That Makes Wine With Love

At Cascina Lana Winery, they consider wines as the art of healthy pleasure and they are right. They tend to their harvest with the utmost care to make the finest quality wines. Their vines mostly in Barbera in the region of Piedmont is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Grapes like Barbera, Dolcetto, Grignolino, Freisa, Cabernet S, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, Cortese and Moscato take shelter in their vineyards spread across 23 hectares of land.

Cascina Lana Winery still follows the tradition of Cugna. Barbera grapes are pressed with the feet and the must is cooked for more than 12 hours. Walnuts, hazelnuts, almonds, apples, pears, quinces and so much are added to this must to give it that extra flavor.

Versatile At The Core When It Comes To Their Wines

With the large amount of grapes that grow in their vineyards, Cascina Lana Winery makes an array of wine : red wines, white wines, rose wines, sparkling wines and dessert wines. All of their wines are excellent in quality and of the most superior taste.
