A Rich History of Winemaking
Founded in 1937 by the Baldizzone family, Cascina Lana Winery has a rich history rooted in passion and dedication. The winery transitioned from father to son in the 1970s, and their commitment to the land and winemaking continues to thrive today.
Crafting Wine with Care
At Cascina Lana Winery, wine is viewed as an art form that brings joy. The team meticulously tends to their vineyards, which span 23 hectares and primarily feature Barbera grapes. Other varieties include Dolcetto, Grignolino, Freisa, Cabernet Sauvignon, Nebbiolo, Chardonnay, Cortese, and Moscato. The winery also honors traditional methods, such as the Cugna technique, where Barbera grapes are foot-pressed, and the must is cooked for over 12 hours with added fruits and nuts for enhanced flavor.
A Diverse Selection of Wines
Cascina Lana Winery produces a wide range of wines, including red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines. Each bottle reflects the high quality and exceptional taste that the winery is known for, making it a delightful choice for wine lovers and travelers alike.
