Tradition, Craftsmanship, and Passion in Piedmont's Heart
A Winery Steeped in History
We make wine, we think about tradition, we dream about the future.
Located in a beautifully restored 13th-century Benedictine monastery, Cella Grande Winery combines historical charm with modern winemaking techniques. This unique setting makes it an inviting destination for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors alike, offering a perfect backdrop to enjoy a glass of exquisite wine with friends.
Artisanal Wines Crafted with Care
At Cella Grande, we pride ourselves on producing artisanal wines that reflect our commitment to quality. Our wines, including the renowned Erbaluce di Caluso DOCG and the Carema DOC (2017 vintage), are crafted from the finest raw materials, adhering to traditional methods passed down through generations. The Carema DOC is particularly special, made from the Picutener Nebbiolo grape variety sourced from the picturesque mountain village on the border of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta.
Dedicated Winemakers with a Passion for Quality
Our family has deep roots in farming and winemaking, and we are dedicated to perfecting our craft. We continuously seek ways to enhance our vineyard practices while maintaining the authenticity of our wines. For instance, we prioritize natural methods, such as hay feeding for our grazing animals, and we meticulously oversee every stage of the winemaking process—from harvesting to aging and bottling. This hands-on approach ensures that each bottle reflects our passion and dedication.
