Jocelyne, Jean-Pierre, and Annabelle of Champagne Jean-Pierre Secondé, create excllent Champagnes using grapes from their own vineyards. Their estate has been a work in progress since 1975. The vineyards include small plots and micro-terroirs in Sillery, Verzenay and Mailly in La Montagne de Reims as well as in La Vallée de La Marne. Champagne Jean-Pierre Secondé includes young and old vines, in both chalky and clay soils. The excellent diversity of soils at Champagne Jean-Pierre Secondé provides various winemaking opportunities as the Champagnes draw their unique aromatic richness from their environment.
