Superb wines! Loved the straight hunter valley Shiraz but maybe moreso the hunter valley / McLaren vale Shiraz blend! And never thought I'd get a Pinot from the hunter made with central Otago grapes. Beautiful chardonnay and rosé as well, definitely worth a visit!

Superb wines! Loved the straight hunter valley Shiraz but maybe moreso the hunter valley / McLaren vale Shiraz blend! And never thought I'd get a Pinot from the hunter made with central Otago grapes. Beautiful chardonnay and rosé as well, definitely worth a visit!

Elegant wines made by an amazing wine maker. We had a taste of Kiwi wines too and they were delicious. It was very nice to chat with the winemaker who was very happy to share his passion and knowledge. Can't miss stopping by Charteris' cellar door if you happen to be in the Hunter Valley.
