Enjoy Organic Wines in Languedoc-Roussillon's Scenic Landscape
The Territory of Château de l’Ou Winery
Château de l’Ou is nestled just 10 km south of Perpignan, in the picturesque region of Languedoc-Roussillon. Since acquiring the estate in 1998, Séverine and Philippe Bourrier have transformed 26 hectares into thriving vineyards and 4 hectares into olive groves. Their commitment to organic farming has led to the conversion of the entire property, with 8 hectares of vines in Saint-Paul-de-Fenouillet and 7 hectares in Caudiès-de-Fenouillèdes.
Organic Farming and Biodiversity Conservation
At Château de l’Ou, organic farming practices are at the heart of their winemaking philosophy. By avoiding synthetic chemicals and GMOs, they prioritize environmental sustainability and biodiversity. The winery produces a diverse selection of white, red, and rosé wines, along with exceptional naturally sweet wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region.
Tasting Wines in a Creative and Friendly Atmosphere
For a memorable wine tasting experience, visit the estate and enjoy the warm hospitality of the staff. Guided tours provide an opportunity to meet the winemakers and owners while savoring their authentic wines in a beautifully designed tasting room. The winery also features a charming Catalan restaurant, offering coffee, a buffet, and classic catering options. Guests can take a closer look at the vineyards and cellars, making it an ideal setting for work meetings, training sessions, product launches, and workshops.
