Claudio Alario is a distinguished winery nestled in Diano d’Alba, a charming village surrounded by lush, rolling hills. For over a century, the Alario family has dedicated themselves to nurturing their vineyards and producing exceptional wines. In 1988, Claudio transformed the family fields into a winery, drawing on his background as an agronomist and his family's deep-rooted expertise in viticulture. By 1995, the winery began bottling its own wines, marking a significant milestone in its history.

A Wine for Every Palate

For the past twenty-five years, Claudio Alario has overseen the winery's operations, ensuring the production of high-quality wines that reflect the unique terroir of the region. The winery is renowned for its Dolcetto Diano d’Alba, which is highly regarded by locals and considered comparable to some of the most prestigious wines in the area. In addition to Dolcetto, the winery cultivates Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Barolo grapes, showcasing the diversity of Piedmont's wine heritage.
