Family Winery from the Friuli Colli Orientali
Located in the Friuli Colli Orientali DOC region in the Northeast of Italy, Conte d’Attimis-Maniago is a family winery with more than 400 years of history. The d’Attimis-Maniago Family acquired the estate as dowry for marriage and have produced top tier wines here ever since.
Experience Unique Wines
The family estate spreads across 110 hectares of vineyard in the Friulian Hills known for their suitability for viticulture due to the location and composition of soil. It is here where they grow their grapes to produce their famous wines. They have international grape varieties like Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon blanc, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Cabernet, and Merlot. The owner of Conte d’Attimis-Maniago, however, have very strong feeling about their heirloom varieties such as Friulano, Ribolla Gialla, Malvasia, Picolit, Verduzzo Friulano, Pignolo, Schioppettino, Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso and Tazzelenghe. Conte d’Attimis-Maniago is convinced that their autochthonous grapes, through their originality, are an added value compared to the homogenization of taste that is customary of international varieties worldwide.
