Our Story
Founded in the winter of 2003, Olenos Estate is nestled on the picturesque slopes of Mount Olympus in the Elassona region of Central Greece. The estate was established by two friends and agronomists, George Lolas and George Ftikas, who shared a vision to revive the historic vineyards of the area and produce exceptional wines. Today, Olenos Estate boasts 10 hectares of organic vineyards, a testament to their dedication and expertise in viticulture.

Wonderful wine tasting experience at the cellar with dad George, mom and daughter Despina oenologist :) Very nice tour of the magnificent cellar! The wine is delicious and there are really nice differences with lots of very informative explanations around the names, the types of grapes, the graphics of the bottle labels... At the end a very fun traditional Greek dance!! :)

During our tour of the beautiful area of Elassona, we were lucky enough to discover a family winery, a real hidden treasure. Run by two families, the winery is an example of authentic hospitality and love for winemaking. The first thing that struck us was the variety of wines with extremely tasteful labels. The white and red labels were not just a superficial touch of beauty, but reflected the attention to detail and quality that characterizes their wines. As for hospitality, the families welcomed us with a rare warmth. We felt like we were staying with old friends, giving us a personal experience that is rare these days. Overall, our visit to this winery was an experience that goes beyond just enjoying great wines. It was a dive into the culture and tradition of Elassona, a true reflection of Greek hospitality. I highly recommend a visit to anyone in the area.
