The Queen’s Tower Estate, inspired by Queen Amalia’s vision, serves as a model for innovative agricultural practices aimed at modernizing Greek farming. Each wine produced here reflects the unique terroir, dedication, and passion that goes into every bottle.

10 Acres of Quality Vineyards

Spanning 10 acres, the vineyard at Pyrgos Vasilissis is one of the estate's earliest plantations. Renowned for its high-quality wines, the vineyard employs organic techniques that foster an ideal climate for vine growth. The region's favorable conditions, combined with meticulous care, yield exceptional grapes. This vineyard occupies the same land as the original estate from Queen Amalia’s time, and sustainable practices such as composting and the use of horse manure are integral to its operations.

Exceptional Blends from Quality Grapes

The estate cultivates a variety of both Greek and European wine grapes, encompassing both red and white types. The essence of a great wine lies not only in its flavor but also in the story of its production and the terroir from which it originates. The winemaking process at Pyrgos Vasilissis prioritizes the integrity of the grape varieties, ensuring that the freshness and elegance characteristic of this region are preserved in every bottle.

The location is very helpful! Very close to Tritsi park and very close to the Philadelphia bridge to walk to new Philadelphia. We are talking about a walking distance to the park of about 150 to 200 meters and to the center of Philadelphia about 500 to 600 meters! You can't get a ticket at the station as there are no ticket offices in operation and the automatic machines don't work either. However, a person comes on the train and you can only pay with cash, there is no card machine.
