In the Heart of Castilla Leon
The Elias Mora winery in the Castilla Leon region is named after its former owner, Elias Mora, and is now operated and owned by Victoria Benavides. The philosophy of the wine company is simple, and they combine the historical knowledge of their ancestors with modern, innovative technology and machinery to produce wines. The ageing of wines takes place in the winery using natural products like glass, oak, and cork. Feel free to visit the winery for wine tasting in the serene and peaceful area.
King of the Grapes: Tinta de Toro
The vineyards are in the best locations between Hornija and Duero rivers and are cultivated in glass according to the traditional technique. The soil has high quantities of gravel and an extreme continental microclimate with high altitude and very low rainfall. These natural conditions make the area ideal for cultivating vines.
The Tinta de Toro is the grape that grows here exclusively, and every year the slight variations in the climate give unique qualities to the vintage
Taste the Unique Taste of the Wines at Elias Moro Winery
All the wines are made with 100% Tinta de Toro grapes, and the variety is being planted in the region for more than 2000 years. The vines never suffered from Phylloxera and thus are planted without the American pattern. Their collection includes the Toro wines, Rueda wines, and French wines from Burgundy, Alsace, and Champagne. Their customers love the unique taste and complexion of the wines. During winemaking in the cellar, proper care is taken so that the wines meet the required standard and reflect the qualities of the region
