You have to brave a few km of unpaved roads – the characteristic strade bianche, white unpaved roads, a protected element of Chianti Classico landscape and the route of the famous historic cycling competitions, but the journey is worth it!

The Historical Winery

Our winery was founded in 1934 by Senator Giovanni Malagodi, a famous Italian politician and winemaker, but the Castle of Aiola is more than 800 years old, and wine has always been made here. Today Aiola wines are created by one of the most renowned and professional winemakers in the Chianti Classico territory — Paolo Salvi. During your visit you will get a chance to taste some of these wines – winners of the most prestigious international competitions.
