Fattoria Di Bacchereto is a family-owned winery nestled in the picturesque hills of Tuscany, a region celebrated for its exceptional wines.

A Commitment to Organic Winemaking

At Fattoria Di Bacchereto, winemaking is a labor of love rooted in respect for nature. The winery practices organic viticulture, avoiding herbicides, chemical fertilizers, and pesticides. In the cellars, wines are crafted without additives and are aged in small oak barrels for a minimum of six months. Alongside their wines, the estate also produces high-quality extra virgin olive oil. The property spans 8 hectares of vineyards, 60 hectares of olive groves, and 90 hectares of lush woods and chestnut groves.

Honoring Tradition

Situated at an altitude of 180 to 300 meters on the scenic slopes of Montalbano, this estate has been in the family since 1920. Fattoria Di Bacchereto is dedicated to preserving traditional winemaking practices while adapting to modern techniques.

Exceptional Winemaking Techniques

Fattoria Di Bacchereto produces around 20,000 bottles of wine each year. The grapes undergo light maceration at controlled temperatures, followed by fermentation in concrete vats. The wines are aged for 12 to 19 months in oak barrels, with an additional six months in the bottle. This meticulous process results in organic wines that reflect the unique terroir of Tuscany.

Even 6!! I am writing this review after some time. I was amazed by this structure, a timeless place nestled in the Tuscan valleys just a few steps from Florence. Here we took a clay course lasting 4/5 hours, we learned about this art, thanks also to Mariachiara, a very good girl who helped us create small personal works. I highly recommend it!!

We stayed overnight in this historic farm and it was Rossella who welcomed us, a person who loves and cultivates her passion. The story of how she came to produce this excellent organic wine is very beautiful. Quality wines, we particularly liked the white wine and the Vin Santo! Also the homemade tomato sauce that accompanied the tasting was excellent. Beautiful experience!

I can't say enough about how great the tasting was here! Fantastic wines (white, red and vin santo) and a thorough and interesting tour of the buildings and vineyards. We were made to feel at home during the tasting and couldn't resist taking away a bottle of our favorite wine at the end of the visit. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking to try some high-quality wines in the region.

I had the opportunity to do a tasting at this place through Smart Box and what can I say... both my boyfriend and I were more than satisfied! The lady who welcomed us (the owner) was really good at telling us the story of the wine and its production with enthusiasm and passion. The tasting was excellent, the wines were very good. Finally, the Smart Box package also included two free bottles that we can't wait to try! Thank you for this experience.
