Fattoria Di Bacchereto is a family owned winery that is located in the beautiful hills of Tuscany, one of the most renowned wine regions in the world.
A Dedicated Winery
For a long time, Fattoria Di Bacchereto has been passionately making wines in the most natural of ways. The winery respects what nature offers and tries to make the best use of it. This is why the viticulture here is organic.. There is no use of herbicides, chemical fertilizers or pesticides. In the cellars, no additional years are used and wines are either aged in small oak barrels for at least 6 months. Fattoria Di Bacchereto are also keen on producing extra virgin olive oil just as much as producing wines. In their estates, 8 hectares are dedicated to vineyards, 60 hectares are cultivated with olive groves and the remaining 90 hectares are woods and fruit chestnut groves.
Fattoria Di Bacchereto Carries Tradition Forward
The farm is located between 180 and 300 meters altitude on the slopes of the woods that cover Montalbano. And this estate has belonged to the family since 1920. The tradition of winemaking in the most natural and traditional practices is only going forward.
Wine Making Skills at its Finest
Fattoria Di Bacchereto produces 20000 bottles annually. The wines are lightly macerated at controlled temperatures and they are fermented in concrete vats and malolactic. Ageing is dones for at least 12 to 19 months in the oak barrels and then 6 months in the bottle. One can only imagine how good their organic wines made in such a way must taste.
