Enjoy the stunning view at Finca Montepedroso winery
Finca Montepedroso is situated in the heart of the Denomination of Origin (DO) Rueda, in the town of Rueda, in Castilla y León region in Spain. Located on a plateau at an altitude of 750 meters with a stunning view, they specialize in the production of quality wines with the amazing personality of a variety of native grape, the Verdejo.
The latest technology for best wines
Finca Montepedroso, belonging to Familia Martínez Bujanda, has an area of 25 hectares with an age of plants that ranges from 7 to 31 years. The farm has three types of soil similar to the characteristics of soil in a region that forms the Duero River. This region provides an alluvial soil, a clay soil and a soil with a lot of silt and clay sediments. The family became passionate for wines in Rueda when it was an emerging Spanish wine-growing area specializing in the production of quality white wines.
The project, as it happened before with Finca Valpiedra (Rioja) or Finca Antigua (La Mancha), needed the best vineyards and a winery integrated in the landscape, with the latest technology to elaborate the best whites
Experience the wines from DO Rueda
The family bought the estate in 2008 and built a functional and singular winery, almost at ground level of the plateau and Finca Montepedroso was opened in April 2012. The winery produces all its wines under D.O. Rueda labels. The Verdejo grapes cultivated in the vineyards are used to produce the best white wines in the region.
