The Story of Franz Gojer - Glögglhof Winery

Franz Gojer - Gögglhof Winery is a small family-run business in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalena wine-growing area and in Cornedo all'Isarco. The Gojer family produces wines from indigenous grapes such as Vernatsch (or Schiava) and Lagrein as well as Weißburgunder (Pinot Bianco), Sauvignon, and Kerner (a cross between Schiava and Riesling) with their characteristic flavors.

Story of Each Bottle

The bottled wine is the outcome of hard work at each step of the winemaking process, carried out both in the summer heat and the coldness of the winter. Every year poses a new challenge, which is at the same time a new chance to prove and improve our expertise, while expanding our experience.

At Cornedo all'Isarco we welcome guests to the Gojer apartments in the middle of our wine-growing estate. The 3 apartments offer a modern ambience and comfortable environment, with a stunning view over South Tyrol’s capital city Bolzano, which is just ten minutes away. The apartments sleep 2-6 people.

Excellent wines that we have been tasting for years. A consistently high standard. The Goyer family is a very nice, down-to-earth family.

We visited several wineries on our trip, this was by far our favorite. The selection was great. Its not usual that we like almost every wine a winery offers but of the 6-7 we tasted, we liked them all and we ended up taking a few bottles home. The property is also stunning. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend it.
