Fürstenzellerhof has a rich history that dates back to its origins as a hunting lodge for Queen Agnes of Hungary. After the death of "Frederick the Handsome" of Austria in 1313, the estate was returned to the Fürstenzell Bavarian monastery. The name "Fürstenzellerhof" reflects its long-standing connection to the monastery, which once used the courtyard as a reading space. In 1862, the estate transitioned into a thriving viticulture and winemaking center, marking the beginning of its journey in the wine industry.
