Back to the Very Beginning

Founded in 1999 by Raffaele Pagano, Joaquin Sarl Winery is a testament to a family tradition of winemaking passed down through generations. The journey began with the acquisition of land in Montefalcione, where the winery was established. Although relatively young, Joaquin Sarl has steadily built its reputation by producing limited editions and unique wines in small quantities. Each vintage and label reflects a commitment to quality, emphasizing the importance of raw materials, the terroir, and the characteristics of each harvest.

High Technology in the Vineyard

The vineyards, located between Lapio, Paternopoli, and Anacapri, began producing wine in 2009, leading to the creation of the acclaimed Joaquin Dall'Isola label. The winery employs precision viticulture, utilizing advanced technology in the vineyard to respect the land. This approach highlights the traditional grape varieties of the region, such as Fiano and Aglianico, while honoring the historical winemaking practices of Irpinia. The philosophy at Joaquin Sarl is to enhance the natural expression of the wines, allowing the terroir to shine through in every bottle.

Precise Winemaking with Authentic Expression

Joaquin Sarl produces an average of 5,500 bottles per label each year, with each vineyard plot vinified separately to capture its unique essence. This meticulous attention to detail ensures that every wine is a true representation of its origin. The winery uses only second or third passage tonneaux made from local chestnut and acacia oak for aging and fermentation, avoiding barrique barrels to maintain a classic style that reflects the rich winemaking heritage of the region.
