Friendly tasting with good value for money. We particularly enjoyed the Pinot Blanc. There is also a nice dry sparkling wine. A detour from the wine route is definitely worth it.

.. somewhat remote in a side valley is the community of St. Pauls.. and the St. Pauls winery.. very nice 🍷 wine selection.. both the garden and the interior are beautifully designed.. this winery makes you want to try wine.. also the small village of the same name must be explored on foot.. directly opposite the beautiful church.. the Bar Mondschein.. this is where the locals meet.. very friendly couple who run it.. be sure to try the homemade coffee and kitsch schnapps.. very tasty.. Surprisingly good wines, I wasn’t expecting coming to Bozen and have nice wines with their unique taste. Enjoyable wine tasting experience.

Update 2022: This time it was supposed to be something special, the St. Pauls sparkling wine bunker. Unfortunately, the rain spoiled our plans and so it became a cellar tour followed by a tasting. The St. Pauls winery is located directly on the main road through the town. There are enough parking spaces. Large sales room. Attentive staff. Large selection of wines, simple, normal, but also special wines and a good sparkling wine. What more could you want.

I can personally only recommend the tour followed by a wine tasting. A really informative little insight into the modernized and clean production! The specialist knowledge of certain production processes and product variants is just as fascinating! The wine tasting that follows is planned down to the smallest detail - from the wine to the glass. Thank you very much for the experience!

Excellent wines. We were welcomed, even with the dogs, by the girl who worked at the wine shop. She made us do a large tasting of the company's wines and was very attentive in the service, changing the glasses every time and choosing the right ones for each type of wine. In addition, she was very pleasant in explaining the wines, you could see that she had passion for her work. Satisfied with the experience, we then bought 6 bottles!

Great local wines!

Personally I think it produces one of the best Gewurztraminer (Justina) and Lagrein riserva (Passion). The price is worth the whole bottle. The Merlot and Sauvignon are also excellent.
