La Bodega Medieval: A Hidden Gem in San Martín del Castañar

We visited the winery this afternoon and we loved it. The treatment of the owners It has been exquisite. Products such as wine in its different varieties, Iberian sausage, olives... all of great quality. I will recommend her to our family and acquaintances. We will return.

An authentic place in a small mountain village, far from the classic tourist attractions. A pleasant moment that allows you to discover ancient techniques related to the vine. A tasting of wine and local cold cuts pleasantly completes the experience.

Simply THANK YOU to Nuria and Alex for that wonderful time with them. It was, literally, a private pass, in which we learned very interesting things, we tasted some very delicious wines and a spectacular sausage... And we won the game!

Very good experience visiting the medieval winery. The restoration they have done is incredible and takes you back to the 16th century for a moment. Alex and Nuria explain very well the history and curiosities of the place. Thank you for the love you have put into preserving the heritage.

Great visit with local wine, chorizo and a history lesson about the wine making process! Alex was super informative and was able to speak to our group in Spanish, English and French. Definitely recommend going if you’re in town!
