Wine Making Methods

The chalky soils at Cave des Vignerons of Pfaffenheim allow the winemakers at the estate to produce rich and luxurious wines with high quality. Their wines carry a complex delicate bouquet of fruity and mineral notes. Pfaffenheim cellar possesses highly modern pneumatic presses, they make wines in high-quality stainless steel vats, and provide the fermentation and the extraction rich in fruity characteristics. They ferment wines for months and proceed with racking, filtering, and clarification. The winery conserves wines properly while avoiding oxidation and their bottling process permits these great wines to age in their cellars for a long period of time.
