If you go here you don't have to go anywhere else. It's a really nice and loving company. Each wine is very good and the experience is different. It's really a family and you can feel it right away.

Gabriele was available immediately on the phone, we spent 2 hours with him and he managed to convey his passion and let us try his splendid wine. Thank you very much, we will return and recommend it to anyone who is near Montepulciano

We spontaneously booked a private tour for two people. Michela gave us an extremely interesting tour and you could feel the passion of Gabriele, who is the only person who does every step of the wine production himself. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or not, everyone is given a warm welcome here.

We went for a wine tasting and had an amazing experience. We came one week after the harvest and had the chance to get a look into the busiest phase of the winemaking. Nonetheless, we received extensive explanations regarding both the Montepulciano, the Nobile wine, as well as the specific philosophy of La Combarbia. Exceptional wines and absolutely the best tasting experience you could ask for! Met the owner, cool young guy so passionate about his wine and family….it shows in his wines, so expressive and all organic, some of the best we’ve tasted. Don’t miss this winery!!

The best wine tasting experience I have had in a long time. The owner’s passion shines through in every part of the tour and tasting. He has a vision and we were honored to be to contribute to his dream. The wines are spectacular! Our hostess did such an amazing job providing not just the tasting notes but so much education on Italian wines. We cannot wait until we can come back and see the amazing progress.

When we arrived, we were greeted in the parking area by a lovely young lady, Michela, who would be our tour guide and hostess for about an hour and a half. We did not visit the vineyards, but did visit the production area where we met the owner, Gabriele. Michela explained in great detail the barreling process and types, details about the region, the grapes, and the types of soils very specific to the great wines we were tasting. Super personal, very informative experience. We had a great time and fantastic wine. Shipped several bottles home!

As many others have said, this is an amazing experience. It’s basically a private wine tour with opportunities to ask questions and learn about their history and process. Michela greeted us in the parking lot and invited us in. Her enthusiasm and friendly smile made us feel so welcome. The story of Gabriele and his family’s tradition of wine making is inspirational. We could truly feel that passion and pride that he puts into his wines. The wines were wonderful and we left with several bottles and shipped some home too! Highly recommend!

Gabriele is friendly and very helpful, you can stay there talking about wine and other things for hours! Winery with a small production but of excellent quality, the flagship wine is the Nobile, obviously. The white and red of Montepulciano are also particularly interesting. Compliments to him for his wines and for his work!

Great experience, Gabriele is really professional and passionate. The wine is superb. Tasting away from the "tourist traps" of the city. I recommend 100%! A big plus for the "Vino nobile Si Montepulciano DOCG" and for the owner who really takes the time to talk about his wines and his kindness.

I went with my girlfriend to visit the company and Gabriele was immediately available even on the phone. During the visit his passion for wine and what he does emerged. Clothing finished by tasting the various wines with him drinking with us and we felt as if we were old friends. It goes without saying that when there is such passion, the result is excellent, and we ended up buying all the wines we had tried not being able to choose which ones we liked the most. If and when we return to those parts, we will definitely return for another visit.
