We had a fabulous time visiting La Combarbia and learning about the practices that make a a Montepulciano Nobile what it is. As people new to wine-making we had no idea the amount of passion, patience, and skill that goes into making this special wine. Gabriele and Michela made the experience feel like sitting with friends. We highly recommend the visit and the wines.

Fabulous tasting experience

We went as a family to La Combarbia with a mixture of "wine experience" We were welcomed by Gabrielle and Sylvia who showed us their winery and took us through a tasting of thier present releases. Everyone learnt, and the passion Gabrielle has for his wines and winery was a delight to behold. This experience felt much more "real" than other more established wineries we have visited. I look forward to enjoying the wine I purchased back in the UK

Fantastic tour by Michalea - very informative and enthusiastic - not someone just following a script. Wines were excellent & and to meet the winemaker and learn about his innovative techniques was eye opening, even for someone who has been to many wineries. Highly Recommend !!!

Amazing Experience

Thank you, Gabriele, for personally sharing your many years of wine experience with us amateurs. We had never done a wine tasting before and after a small tour through the building and explaining the use of various machines, Gabriele led us to the wine cellar. We shared this experience with a very friendly couple from Israel and we all asked many questions regarding the equipment and wine. The wine itself was amazing. However, the only sad part was that there was no white wine and we all wanted to try. Nevertheless, great experience and if we come to Tuscany again, we will definitely come back!!
