Crafting Excellence from Vineyard to Barrel at Las dos Antiguas

Located between the renowned wine regions of Rueda and Ribera del Duero, Las dos Antiguas winery is dedicated to producing exceptional aged red wines. Our process begins with the careful handpicking of grapes, ensuring that we respect the unique characteristics of our land and grape varieties. Each stage of production reflects our commitment to quality and our distinct identity.

Commitment to Quality Winemaking

Our dedication to quality starts in the vineyard, where we select specific plots that align with our winemaking philosophy. We implement strict controls in both the fields and the winery, focusing on refined production techniques. This approach allows our wines to express the true essence of each grape variety while benefiting from the subtle influences of oak barrel aging. With a selection of cooperages, we pair each wine with the ideal oak barrel, resulting in complex and harmonious flavors. Producing only 6,000 bottles per year, we pride ourselves on being one of the smallest wineries in Castilla y León, emphasizing quality over quantity.

Very good visit. Alejandro has made a very good, very entertaining explanation and has answered all our questions. You can tell that he does his job with passion. We loved the wines and it shows that they are made with taste. The tasting was accompanied with very good cheese and chorizo, which are appreciated to accompany the wines. Thank you

Las Dos Antiguas - Absolutely incredible! Visiting from the US with family, total a group of 4. Very personal, authentic and intimate tour of the little winery. The owner Rodrigo accepted our very last minute request for a reservation and was very kind and clearly passionate about his business. The wine was INCREDIBLE! Even among the already elevated Spanish wines (compared to the US). Checking extra bags to fly home with more wine! 10/10 will recommend to all of my friends and family. Thank you Rodrigo!

It was a unique and very pleasant experience. Alejandro, the winemaker who explained everything related to the winery to us, is very professional and very friendly. He answered all our questions very well.

I met them last year at a fair promoted by Productos de Segovia and even then it seemed to me that they had something different from the rest of the wineries. Start with a close treatment that inadvertently puts you in their wines. Back in the day I bought a bottle of Prestigio from them, letting myself be carried away by my instinct, I was definitely surprised! This year I visited their winery and what is surprising here is how small it is! In fact, they themselves say that they are the smallest in Castilla y León. Its production is very limited, which makes its wines even better. They have reds and whites and this is like who you want more! After the visit, both Rodrigo and Alejandro delighted us with a tasting, talking about their wines and not boring us as happens in other wineries. They transmit incredible passion and desire, but their wines already speak very well! A wine that left us speechless is Selección, a gold medal! The better you give the glass the better it is! Without a doubt one of the best wineries and no matter how small it is, it will be worse than the largest ones! Because the treatment they give you is incredible!
