Perched atop Bella Vista hill, Manaresi Winery is nestled in the picturesque Colli Bolognesi Pignoletto DOCG wine region. The estate spans 24 hectares of lush vineyards, flourishing in rich clay-loam soils, and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding plains and the city of Bologna.

The Legacy of Manaresi

Named after the talented artist Paolo Manaresi, the winery is now managed by his granddaughter, Donatella Agostoni, alongside Fabio Bottonelli. This family-run establishment combines tradition with modern techniques to create exceptional wines.

Manaresi Winery is located underground within a beautifully restored 120-year-old rural complex. The facility is equipped with state-of-the-art technology designed to respect the integrity of the grapes. The winery's commitment to organic agriculture ensures that all grapes are hand-picked in small crates, allowing for gentle processing. This meticulous approach aims to produce elegant and balanced wines that reflect the unique terroir of Emilia-Romagna.

Visitors can appreciate the artistry behind each bottle, as Manaresi Winery continues to honor its heritage while crafting wines that resonate with both local and international wine enthusiasts.

Exceptional family owned/independent vintner! Offered a tasting upon arrival (owner very pleasant and kind to come in from working in the yard to serve us). The Barbera and Rosé are very bold, flavorful, with great acidity.

We had a great experience! The winery was beautiful; on our tour we got to walk around in the fields and taste the grapes. It was such a clear day that you could see the Alps in the distance. The tasting was relaxing and we sat on a beautiful terrace. Our host and his wife were very kind and accommodating - they called our taxis for us back to Bologna. Well worth the price!

Fantastic wine tour on a lovely vineyard. Enjoyed the walk around the vineyard and learning the details about how the grapes are grown. And of course the wine was excellent. Super friendly and welcoming - would highly recommend.
