We are an intergenerational family winery with the ambition to produce dry fruity white wines and structurally rich red wines from the sandy soils of Burgenland.

The Spectacular Mariel Winery

We cultivate our vineyards with attention to detail. Small-structured conditions are the basis of our wines. The fertile soil in the Wulka Valley and over 2,000 hours of sunshine a year do the rest.

Thanks to individual manual work, the needs of the individual vines can be met. Through careful selection and traditional harvesting, we gently harvest the grapes at the ideal degree of ripeness and thus lay the foundation for unique taste.

We have been visiting this wine tavern again and again for many years. It is always a pleasure and a pleasure to eat both classic, high-quality delicacies and more modern dishes in the simply furnished and always well-attended Heurigen. And the fried Blunzenradeln, the caraway roast, the bowl with caraway roast and the vegetarian version with runner bean loaves tasted delicious. In any case, the prices are moderate. For many years we have also been enjoying Mariel wine, which is regularly delivered to Vienna. It's not for nothing that the family keeps hoarding prices for their fine wines. And in my opinion, that's completely right. All of the wines are excellent, although for me personally the “Mixed Set” cannot be topped - fruity and sparkling. The GV Sand&Stein accompanies good food very well. The Pesac and the Condre need not fear comparison. We are and will remain regular customers!
