The Schindler family has a long-standing tradition of viticulture, with roots in winemaking that span generations. Ing. Ferry Schindler joined the family business in 1999 after studying viticulture in Klosterneuburg. He crafted the first cuvée, “L’esprit Ferry,” and took over the winery's management in 2008. Today, he works alongside Anita Schindler, who manages guest accommodations, and Franz Schindler, the skilled winemaker and cellar master, with Kaethe Schindler supporting vineyard operations.
The Schindler family cultivates 15 hectares of vineyards, with 70% dedicated to red grape varieties and 30% to white. The estate grows popular red grapes such as Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon, while the white varieties include Welschriesling, Muscat Ottonel, and Sauvignon Blanc. Additionally, a portion of the vineyard is reserved for Bouvier and Chardonnay grapes, which are used for sweet wines. The winery prioritizes eco-friendly practices to ensure the health of the land and the quality of the grapes.
Guests can enjoy a tranquil stay in well-appointed double rooms featuring modern amenities. Each room includes a shower with both hand and rain options, a walk-in closet, flat-screen TV, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, and full-length mirror. A Pannonian-style breakfast and homemade dishes are also available, allowing visitors to savor local flavors during their stay.

The Schindler winery offers everything you could want for a comfortable stay. We have been there several times, this year in September with 6 people, and are always thrilled. A very nice and attentive hostess is available to help and advise. Good wines! Lake Neusiedl is ideal for cycling. We'll be back next year!

I went there to taste and buy wine. Very nice family, explains a lot from the vine to tasting the wine. We were offered almost the entire range for tasting. Very good wines for every occasion and taste. Highly recommended!
