In Castelnuovo dell’Abate, at the far southeastern corner of Montalcino, lies a piece of land that remained unnoticed for a long time. At a time when few dared, we began our winemaking adventure, driven by passion and dedication, where the presence of the Orcia River and Mount Amiata creates a unique microclimate.

At Mastrojanni he discovered the potential to obtain a high-quality Sangiovese that over the years revealed a Brunello different from any other area in Montalcino.

Mastrojanni wants to be all of this: wonder of landscape, wonder in the glass, but also in its identity thanks to a natural beauty expressed by complex soils, forty vintages, and people who have always contributed to its noble and often visionary history.

One of the finest wineries in Montalcino and Tuscany. Exceptional wine-making process, legendary Brunello bottles available (in limited quantities). The lunch experience is amazing and the views from the top are one-of-a-kind!

Excellent tour. The winery is beautiful. The wines are excellent. The tour is very cool, showing all the processes and stages of wine production, the history of the winery, and the vineyards with different types of grapes. It's well worth it. Our guide was very attentive.

We enjoyed a tour, wine tasting and lunch at Mastrojanni. Our guide Sophia was very personable and great at explaining the wine making process. We tasted some great Brunellos and purchased several bottles. A great winery to visit!

Awesome winery in Montalcino !! We did the visit with Filippo, who was so knowledgeable about Brunello wine making methods. The vineyard is beautiful, and the quality of the wine is excellent. Too bad we didn’t have a suitcase and couldn’t bring some back home with our flight, the wine is definitely worth it !!

Visited this winery years ago and saved this bottle for a perfect spring night. If I close my eyes I can see Tuscany. When we drink we can taste Italy. Superb wine.
