The company , situated in the Roero Regione, was founded in 1985 thanks to the pioneering work of Matteo Correggia, who was one of the first in Roero to begin the production of quality wines, bringing what was an almost exclusively family economy to international levels. After his disappearance, the management was taken over by his wife Ornella.

Matteo Correggia winery today owns 21 hectares of vineyards. Was certified organic in 2014 and has always been committed to innovation, such as the use of screw caps on some wines.

Giovanni, Matteo and Ornella son's, joined the company in 2012 and today he is the one who leads it.

Matteo Correggia Di Costa Ornella Winery: Fantastic wine tour and tasting! 😶 Our guide in the world of #matteocorreggia wines was the legendary hostess Ornella (she was wonderful and very helpful). Excellent wines, especially the legendary Roero Arneis La Val Dei Preti 2016 and Roero Riserva Ròche d'Ampsèj 🤩🤩🤩 It was a fantastic experience that I highly recommend 👌

I'm giving it five stars because I can't give it a thousand! Thank you, Victoria, for being the best guide on an experience I'll treasure forever. For describing wines that speak not only of the land, but of a family that lives and breathes its vineyards. Well done!

The first winery we visited in Roero years ago, and it has become a regular for us: a lovely family business, well-organized and enjoyable tours and tastings, and some truly excellent local wines (especially the Nebbiolo, in my opinion).
