Experience the rich tradition of winemaking in Slovenia's Jeruzalem region with MiroVino's handcrafted wines.
MiroVino is a charming family-owned boutique winery nestled in the picturesque Jeruzalem wine region of eastern Slovenia. Spanning 4 hectares, we cultivate traditional grape varieties, including Šipon, Laški, and Pinot Blanc for whites, along with Blaufränkisch for reds. Recently, we have begun planting resistant grape varieties, which we believe represent the future of sustainable viticulture, minimizing the need for pesticides.
This region boasts a long history of winemaking, with vineyards dating back to before Roman times. The fertile, deep soil, enriched by sediment from the ancient Pannonian Sea, combined with an ideal mix of Pannonian, Alpine, and continental climates, creates perfect conditions for producing exceptional wines. Our annual rainfall of 1100 mm further supports the growth of our grapes.
At MiroVino, we craft wines that reflect our passion for quality. We hand-pick fully ripe or even overripe grapes, allowing nature to guide the winemaking process with minimal intervention. After two years of maturation in our cellar, the wines are bottled and aged for at least another year before they are released. This careful process results in wines that showcase their origins, characterized by pleasant fruitiness, minerality, and balanced acidity and tannins, ensuring their longevity.
