The Name

Paisley is a charming textile town located just outside Glasgow, Scotland. It is the birthplace of Kirsten's great-great-great-grandfather, who emigrated to Adelaide in 1839. The town gained fame in the 1800s for producing exquisite women's shawls, known for their distinctive paisley pattern. Inspired by this rich heritage, Paisley Wines was created, allowing for playful packaging and product names that reflect the winery's roots.

Crafting Exceptional Wines

At Paisley Wines, the philosophy centers on the belief that great wines begin with exceptional grapes sourced from outstanding vineyard sites. The team pays meticulous attention to detail throughout the growing process, ensuring that each harvest reflects the unique characteristics of the land.

Wine-Making Experience

For those curious about the wine-making process, Paisley owners Derek and Kirsten invite you to learn about the journey from grape to glass. Gain insights into the art of wine-making and blending, and appreciate the dedication that goes into crafting each bottle. Whether you are a seasoned wine enthusiast or a casual drinker, there is always something new to learn about the world of wine at Paisley Wines.

Had a lovely afternoon tasting at Paisley over the Easter weekend. If you’re looking for a relaxed and personalised tasting in the Barossa with a commitment to quality over quantity- head here! Recommend the Mataro .

A most delightful day! Visited Paisley Wines, a family run winery, for a special occasion with my partner. We were welcomed by the charming and knowledgeable Kirsten ( the co-owner), and taken on a fun and insightful tour of the vineyard and petting zoo. We sampled AMAZING wines, with a delicious platter surrounded by spectacular views! Would very highly recommend to all. Thank you again Kirsten and Derek. X

Lovely visit to Paisley Wines for a full tasting of their wines. Derek and Kirsten shared interesting information regarding their wines and were only too happy to answer any questions we had. Our group purchased quite a few dozen bottles of wine which will be posted home. We’ll be back!!
