Crafting Authentic Australian Wines Since 1847

In 1847, Johann Gramp planted his first vineyard along the banks of Jacob’s Creek, driven by a passion for creating exceptional wines that reflect the unique character of the grapes and the land. Today, we continue this legacy by producing wines that highlight the distinct flavors of each grape variety, shaped by the rich soils and abundant sunshine of South Australia.

Commitment to Sustainable Winemaking

At Jacob’s Creek, we take pride in our commitment to sustainability. Our winery and all of our owned vineyards are certified under Sustainable Winemaking Australia. We are collaborating with our growing partners to achieve the same certification by 2030, ensuring that every grape used in our wines meets local sustainability standards. This approach allows us to produce high-quality wines while prioritizing biodiversity, soil health, water conservation, and energy efficiency. We strive to minimize our environmental impact by using resources responsibly and giving back to the land whenever possible.

This was our first tasting experience in the Barossa, and it did not disappoint. Drew and friends poured samples of various wines as they learned our palate including three “stickies.” We couldn’t leave without a few bottles. In all a delightful experience!

Ordered the Eden menu. The portions are really not big but they are all delicious. It's not grape season right now and there are some kangaroos grazing very cute in March. After the meal, my traveling friend at the bar counter said we rarely come here so we were warmly welcomed to try various small wines so we bought a few bottles back but unfortunately couldn't send them back to Taiwan. The Xo is great and so is the Shiraz cab.

This was our first visit to your winery and it was a lovely experience. We were greeted by Lauren Del Fab. She was so nice and cheery and very helpful and her advice was great. We had a lovely platter for 4 then Manalee took over with our tasting. She was very knowledgeable and guided us through all the wines and the way they are made. I would highly recommend anyone to visit here. It was just perfect. Thank you ladies. 💛
