Here, Wines are Personal
A Family run Winery since 2017
Our family-run winery came to life in 2017, making wine from Nebbiolo grapes from our own vineyards, located in the Faset sub-area. They have always owned these lands and Piercarlo's father, Dante, was already producing wine in the 70s.
Piercarlo, who joined the company in 2000, cultivated the vineyards for several years, acquiring more experience year after year, reducing the use of chemistry in the vineyard, carrying out different types of green manuring between the rows depending on the composition of the soil, working hard on thinning and avoiding too much exposure to the sun for the bunches. The goal in the vineyard has always been to harvest ripe but still fresh, crunchy, and uncooked bunches.
WineMaking at Piercarlo Culasso Winery
In 2017, Piercarlo decides to resume winemaking, and supported by his family he embarks on this path. Our products are the result of old vineyards and traditions respected over time and handed down from father to son.
In the cellar the innovations allow us to obtain clean and flawless wines, avoiding any excessive intervention, bringing in the glass the clearest possible expression of what the vintage was.
Each vintage is different, and each has its own characteristics. It is essential to be able to notice them in the glass and understand how our grapes reacted to the different situations that arose.
