Poderi Roccanera Winery

We went to this winery on the advice of Alessandro, the son, whom we met at the truffle fair in Alba. As soon as you arrive, you immediately understand that you are in a familiar and welcoming environment, surrounded by the wonderful vineyards of the Langhe. The owners were very warm and helpful. After showing us every part of their cellar, they reserved a spectacular tasting for us, also accompanied by typical local products. Super recommended as an experience! We can't wait to go back!

We met Alessandro by chance and I am very happy because thanks to this acquaintance the opportunity arose to do this wonderful tasting! He is a young, knowledgeable, hospitable and friendly winemaker, who works with the passion of winemakers of the past. The flagship product is Moscato (I took 4 bottles home), but we tasted 5 other beautiful wines and spent a couple of hours in a truly family atmosphere, as if we had known each other for a long time. To accompany the tasting, a board of excellent quality cold cuts and cheeses. All beautiful, special experience!

Amazing wine tasting experience and super interesting to learn more about the vineyards and the wine making processes. Would definitely recommend everyone to go here and you will for sure want to bring a bottle home with you!!

Alessandro was very kind and available to answer all our questions, prepared and engaging! All the wines we tasted were much appreciated and the local cheeses and cold cuts that accompanied them were also very good. A sincere and excellent quality place!

Let's start with the visit to the winery: Alessandro, who accompanied us, is not only very knowledgeable despite his young age (and I have visited many wineries), but he has the ability to convey knowledge of the territory and the local wine culture. I think I listened to one of the best explanations on the terroir, production and aromas of wine. Having said that (and it is no small thing), my wife and I had the pleasure of tasting some of their wines: all very good, but for personal taste, I have to highlight the Nizza Monferrato (a wine with almost 16 degrees that you would drink in abundance without realizing the alcohol content until you read the label) and the Moscato, very fragrant, with aromas of ripe yellow fruit, peach in syrup, acacia honey and pineapple (the ones that are most present for me) but never cloying. We were unable to taste some wines because they ran out (and this says a lot about the quality of the product). I would have liked to taste the Nebbiolo and the Chardonnay, but that will be for next year. I bought their classic method but I still have to taste it, so... I'll let you know, but the premises are excellent. I thank Alessandro again for the passion he has transmitted to us.

Always a really warm welcome, absolutely STUNNING spot, great tasting rooms, cellar room has been done out really beautifully, and the wines are absolutely fabulous at great price points. Well worth a visit for any staying in the local area.

This winery is special because of it's location. You don't see many tourists in this typical area of Piemonte which makes it even more attractive to visit. This wine family is traditional and modern at the same time in doing their job as good as possible.

A wonderful wine tasting with a great selection of homemade delicacies! The young winemaker Alessandro presents his wines with passion, he speaks excellent English. He gave us a very nice insight into his wine production. His wines were served with a very generous selection of homemade regional specialties that we couldn't get anywhere else in this quality. The only downside: you can't buy them😥 The culinary experience is worth the winding drive through the vineyards! The only thing you shouldn't book afterwards is dinner... We will definitely come back and think back to this afternoon at home with a good glass of Nizza from Poderi Roccanera Tina and Herbert

We were on a holiday in Cossano Belbo and had the idea of having a local wine tasting. So we took our bikes and started looking. Even tough it was noon the community of Cossano Belbo helped us to find a vineyard were it was possible, they called Allessandro and he prepaired everything very swiftly for us. We could taste his splendid wines (and homemade salami which is not for sale :( ). Lovely wines and a nice tour !!

A small, fine winery. We only like white wines and tried the Chardonnay and the local Festivale. The wine tasting was very interesting and entertaining, organized by the boss. He speaks very good English, so Italian is not absolutely necessary

One of the producers to discover absolutely! Remarkable fruity Chardonnay! Moscato a pleasure for the taste buds!! In red, the aromas of ripe cherry fruits of the 2017 vintage make it a promising vintage... Very warm welcome in this family farm
