Tradition Meets Innovation Through Five Generations
At Quinta da Falorca, our mission is to showcase the unique characteristics of our terroir and indigenous grape varieties. With an annual production of approximately 80,000 bottles, we focus on quality over quantity, ensuring that each wine reflects our commitment to excellence.
Our Vineyards
Located in the picturesque heart of Dão, Silgueiros, our estate spans 13 hectares. We cultivate a diverse range of red grape varieties, including Touriga Nacional (57%), Alfrocheiro (12%), Rufete (12%), Jaen (10%), and Tinta Roriz (9%). For our white wines, we primarily use Encruzado, which makes up 95% of our production.
Award-Winning Wines
Our wines have consistently received high praise, with all of them earning 90 points or more from the Wine Advocate – Robert Parker. Notably, our top selections have achieved impressive scores of 96 points in the last three vintages, reflecting our dedication to quality and craftsmanship.
