A Family's Legacy in Winemaking

Pedra Cancela is a heartfelt family project that combines the expertise of generations dedicated to cultivating vineyards and producing exceptional Dão wines. The winery spans 75 hectares of lush vineyards nestled between Viseu, Nelas, and Mangualde, including 19 hectares of vines that are over 50 years old. Recently, the brand expanded with the acquisition of a new property in Carregal do Sal, known as Pedra Cancela - Vinha da Fidalga, where an additional 15 hectares of vineyards have been planted.

The winery is interesting to visit. Rita, a charming woman, treated us wonderfully and the wines were very good. The frozen port was delicious. We returned after two years and the experience was great again. They are charming and very professional.

Espaço agradável inserido numa adega. Decoração com os products daga. Comida bem confecionada, desde carnes a peixe. Adorei os pasteis folhados de queijo, arroz de carqueija, bife com molho de queijo da serra, maçã com bola de gelado. Prices of acordo with serviço mas um pouco elevados talvez.
