Rio del Lupo is a picturesque wine estate located in the Ronconuovo wine region, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Loazzolo. This winery is dedicated to producing high-quality wines from renowned Piedmont grape varieties. The estate features a lovely farmstay complete with a swimming pool and Jacuzzi, surrounded by scenic vineyards and lush woodlands.

A Testament to Family Dedication

The family behind Rio del Lupo has transformed their winemaking approach over the years. Initially, only one part of the old structure was livable, but it has since been renovated into a spacious and comfortable retreat. The former stables have been converted into a charming Mediterranean-style, two-story farmhouse. The rest of the estate has been refurbished into three modern apartments, all while preserving the architectural heritage of Piedmont. Visitors can enjoy contemporary amenities, including luxurious bathhouses with saunas and Jacuzzis, available year-round.

Practicing Biodynamic Methods for Quality Wines

Rio del Lupo spans approximately 15 hectares of fertile land, with five hectares dedicated to vineyards and the rest covered by forests and ravines. Initially focused on Bracchetto and Moscato, the family later added Dolcetto to their offerings. In 2007, they introduced two new grape varieties, Arneis and Nebbiolo, enhancing their portfolio. Today, the winery produces exceptional DOC wines, both red and white, showcasing the rich flavors of the Piedmont region.
