Founded by Bob and Sylvia Franchitto in 1998, Salena Estate has garnered over 20 trophies and 100 gold medals, along with numerous silver and bronze accolades for its organic wines. The Franchitto family is well-respected in the global wine distribution market, offering high-quality bulk wines, private labels, and bottled wines for both national and international audiences.

Organic Vines and Sustainable Practices

Spanning 200 hectares, Salena Estate dedicates 100 hectares to organic farming, cultivating a diverse range of grapes. The estate employs clonal selection and traditional viticulture methods to grow varieties such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, Semillon, and Petit Verdot. All grapes are handpicked and processed with care for the environment. In addition to red and white wines, Salena Estate also produces delightful dessert and sparkling wines, showcasing the best of the Riverland Wine Region.

Conveniently located between Berri and Loxton, the estate features a modern restaurant, Cucina 837, where visitors can enjoy exquisite wine and food pairings in a welcoming atmosphere.
