Smidge Wines, a Private Wine Label of Matt Wenkone
Smidge Wines is the private wine label of Matt Wenkone, one of Australia’s most talented and exciting winemakers. Matt was earlier a chief winemaker at the highly coveted Two Hands. At the winery, Matt shows his talent for locating the best vineyards that always produce the best quality grapes helping him to craft unique and high-quality wines. Matt has set up the winery production to create unique Australian wines, as this is his passion. The winery’s first vintage was the 2002 vintage, and all wine was sold out in very little time. Since then, Smidge Wines has continually produced a variety of ecletic wine offerings.
At Smidge Wines, the best-quality grapes are hand-selected and taken for further gentle processing.
