The Talisman Winery and Estate- Winery with the most Exceptional Australian Wines
The Talisman Winery and Estate is a family run winery that is situated in the Ferguson Valley of Australia within the Geographe Wine Region of Western Australia. The Talisman Winery label was founded by the Robertson family in 2009 after a number of years selling high quality fruits to larger commercial wine producers.
The story of how the family developed themselves from producers of fruit to the makers of some of the highest quality wines is one based on passion, commitment and drive to produce the most exceptional Australian wines.
Vineyards and their Breathtaking Views
The vineyards of the Talisman Winery are situated in the Ferguson Valley hills surrounded by the Wellington National Park. The site was initially bought because of its breath-taking beauty and as a weekend escape for the Robertson family. In 1999 the family enlisted the help of a local viticulturalist to plant the first Talisman vines.
Popular Wines
The grape varietals that were planted were selected based on the soil types and the slopes of the land. Today the Talisman vineyards produces Zinfandel, Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Merlot, Cabernet and Riesling wines through the talents of the wine maker Peter Stanlake. The most popular wines produced by the Talisman winery that should not be missed by all wine drinkers are the 2015 Zinfandel, the 2017 Chardonnay, the 2018 Riesling, the 2016 merlot, the 2019 Arida, the 2013 Malbec, the Spook Rock Red, the Spook Rock White, the 2010 Aged Release Riesling, the 2013 Cabernet Malbec and the 2016 Barrique Sauvignon Blanc Fume – all of which have won multiple domestic and international awards.
