Tenuta Barbadoro: A Legacy of Quality and Nature

My wife and I visited Tenuta Barbadoro as part of a winery tour group in October 2024. The views of the rolling countryside of Tuscany were amazing. And the wines and olive oil that we sampled were fantastic. The bottles were a bit pricey for our budget, especially with shipping to the U.S. was something like 60-70 Euros. Wonderful multi-generational family business - I just wish I could buy their wines here in the southeast U.S. (they sell to restaurants in New York only, they told us).

My husband and I went here on a wine tour in Tuscany. This is our absolute favorite winery we visited. It started while driving onto the gravel drive and were greeted with a smile and wave from the family. The hospitality shown just made the experience that much more memorable. The view of the winery was overwhelming with beauty and awe. Now, let’s talk about WINE! Wow! Every wine we tried was amazing. Everyone on our tour bought wine. We bought 6 and will be back. This is a hidden gem and a must try while you’re visiting Tuscany or on your way to Pisa from Florence.

What a wonderful welcome, delicious food with seven wines plus a dessert wine. I’m not sure you could go anywhere else where you’d find friendlier people, a more convenient location to get to by public transport (so you can take full advantage of the wine!) or a more beautiful location. Thank you Allessio and Allessandra, you could not have made the experience more special for this solo traveller. ❤️

Contacted on a Monday in December 15 minutes before the appointment, you find yourself in front of two simple, friendly brothers, in love and passionate about their territory and their vineyard. Tasting with excellent wines, an hour of your life spent with a smile, organic and passionate wines, an hour of your time that makes you leave with some wine in the trunk and a smile on your face and in your heart ... good guys 🤗. Wine is poetry and you are splendid interpreters of it. Ps the Guido superlative wine!

Highly recommended! Alessio and Alexandra welcomed us as if we were part of the family. They both didn't really have any time because they were still in the middle of work, but they still took a lot of time for us. We were able to taste white wine, rosé wine, red wine and olive oil. For the first time I understood what the fascination with olive oil actually is. The difference to what we get in German supermarkets is huge! And then the wines!! Personally, I liked the "II. Guido" best, a Chianti of the finest quality. All wines are organic. The prices are OK for wines of this quality and we bought a lot. Alessio and Alexandra are the 5th generation to run the winery. We wish you many, many guests!

The tasting and visit of Tenuta Barbadoro guided with love and genuineness by Alessio is a unique experience to try in the Tuscan hills. The proposal includes the tasting of their organic wines and oils accompanied by an excellent platter of local products. Alessio, in describing his products, fully transmits the passion, commitment and respect for his land... From which wonderful products are born. We will definitely be back!

Excellent tasting. Good and organic wines! Alessio attentive and precise in the explanation, given all the processes for the production of wine and oil. Very beautiful the story linked to the names of the wines and the construction of the house where the winery is located! Highly recommended!!!

EXCELLENT QUALITY I took Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and tasted it. It is truly excellent quality. You can feel that it is Tuscan oil and it has all the qualities. The producer is also a very kind person and ready to please everyone. I RECOMMEND TAKING IT
