Write a reviewMy wife and I visited Tenuta Barbadoro as part of a winery tour group in October 2024. The views of the rolling countryside of Tuscany were amazing. And the wines and olive oil that we sampled were fantastic. The bottles were a bit pricey for our budget, especially with shipping to the U.S. was something like 60-70 Euros. Wonderful multi-generational family business - I just wish I could buy their wines here in the southeast U.S. (they sell to restaurants in New York only, they told us).

My husband and I went here on a wine tour in Tuscany. This is our absolute favorite winery we visited. It started while driving onto the gravel drive and were greeted with a smile and wave from the family. The hospitality shown just made the experience that much more memorable. The view of the winery was overwhelming with beauty and awe. Now, let’s talk about WINE! Wow! Every wine we tried was amazing. Everyone on our tour bought wine. We bought 6 and will be back. This is a hidden gem and a must try while you’re visiting Tuscany or on your way to Pisa from Florence.

What a wonderful welcome, delicious food with seven wines plus a dessert wine. I’m not sure you could go anywhere else where you’d find friendlier people, a more convenient location to get to by public transport (so you can take full advantage of the wine!) or a more beautiful location. Thank you Allessio and Allessandra, you could not have made the experience more special for this solo traveller. ❤️
