Tenuta Carbognano is an organic winery dedicated to producing high-quality extra virgin olive oil and wines. Founded in 2005 by Ornella and Marco, this winery is nestled just 15 minutes from the beautiful beaches of Riccione, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Onferno Caves and the Conca River. The estate spans 10 hectares, with half of that area preserved as forest.
The winery is located in a lush environment rich in biodiversity, making it an ideal setting for viticulture. Numerous walking trails wind through the forest, frequented by mushroom foragers, wild asparagus gatherers, and truffle hunters. The area is also part of the historic Gothic Line, offering scenic routes for hiking enthusiasts. At Tenuta Carbognano, we prioritize sustainable practices, using only plant-based products in our 100% vegan vineyards. Guests can enjoy tastings in the farmyard, often accompanied by the producers themselves, while we maintain a vibrant garden that reflects our commitment to respecting nature.

I was there for work this week, unfortunately leaving due to bad weather in Romagna; beautiful place, a very warm welcome, I ate very well even though the restaurant was closed, they cooked me fabulous tagliatelle with ragù and then cold cuts and cheese; I bought two bottles of their wine, a place where I will definitely return!!!

A few weeks ago, in Rimini for a weekend, we visited Tenuta Carbognano for a lunch with tasting, after having identified it in the Slow Wine guide. The place is lovely and the owners Marco and Ornella are nice and very kind. Their wines are produced with great care and the results are remarkable. From the Romagna Sangiovese Superiore to the Sangiovese Riserva to the Ali Rosso and the Gossip Spumante, they all surprised us with their structure, scents and spicy notes. We had a great time, warmly welcomed by the owner. The environment is beautiful, the room tidy and spotless. It was truly a pleasure to discover this establishment, for those who love nature it is the best. My boyfriend and I, and our big dog, went for a day and a half of relaxation, we didn't want to leave. I'm not writing it just for the sake of it, but it's a super relaxing place, that is, peace of mind. Not to mention the super clean rooms, the owners are exceptional people, friendly and very nice and above all professional, which is no small thing! Excellent cuisine, with fresh homemade pasta!
