We have just participated in a unique experience. A wine tasting in this family winery. Welcomed by the owner Mauro and accompanied by his son. Visit to the winery with an explanation of the origins of the company and the stages of production for the elaboration of its wines. Guided tasting with passion and competence... and also by excellent cutting boards. Congratulations 🥰

What a wonderful experience, Davide was the perfect host, he welcomed questions and was unbelievably knowledgeable. The classic tasting was amazing, 5 wines + aperitivo : €30 pp. we left with a couple of bottles too both very reasonably priced (€12/€16). I would HIGHLY recommend!

What a fabulous tasting! Davide, the owner’s son, was extremely knowledgeable and took his time with our tasting. The platters of nibbles were amazing - made by his mother and using fresh ingredients from their garden. We did their Classic tasting of Chardonnay, Rose’, Barbera di Asti, Barberesco and moscato. We loved all the wine and the hospitality as well as purchased 4 bottles for the rest of our trip. An absolute highlight when near Asti

We had a wonderful wine tasting with Christian in English. He explained everything in detail and answered our questions. We were able to try 6 wines and were served delicious snacks. It was a great experience and we had a lot of fun! We were also able to buy wines to take home afterwards. Thank you Christian, it was wonderful! We'd love to come back! :-)

Wine tour and wine tasting at Tenuta San Mauro winery. We really enjoyed the tour and the interesting story about the different types of wine they make. Had tried the Barbaresco and Bianco menu.

We stayed as a couple at this beautiful estate, for the "Banchettando" event on Saturday 25th June... we were welcomed by Mauro, the owner and his children who accompanied us on an interesting visit to the winery and its vineyards. Mauro really involved us in the tour with a detailed explanation of the vines and wine making, from which his passion for the work he does comes. Everything continued in the cozy patio, where we were given the picnic. The evening was enlivened by "live" music from a group of young singers and, thanks to the pairing of the excellent wines of this winery that we had already had the opportunity to get to know through a private tasting beforehand and a truly magical atmosphere with the lights and the nice people present, it was a unique experience that we really feel we can recommend... thank you for the availability, hospitality and passion you put into your work!

I came across the San Mauro real estate site purely by chance. Convinced by another review that spoke of a family atmosphere, I booked the private tasting for two people. We arrived quite easily on the hill halfway between Monferrato and the Langhe, where the Bianco family farmhouse is located. There we meet Davide, a boy like few others. In love with the family business, prepared and full of energy, he explained to us the area, the various winemaking processes and not only served us 5 different types of wine, but also taught us how to taste them and how to distinguish their aromas. To Moscato I had said absolutely no, I don't like it, but I trusted him who with a special combination with the cutting board literally made me change my mind ... So much so that I asked him for a second round. Davide presented the company and the family products with a masterly command of the subject and a dialectic that enchanted us. He always answered the dozens of questions we asked him in a friendly and professional manner and he was very passionate about making us understand that the tasting lasted twice as long as expected. Oh, the wines! What can I say... We left with a nice company! I strongly recommend a complete tasting from the red wines to the sparkling wine stands and the Moscato. We will definitely be back.

Wine tasting & tour, amazing setting and super friendly staff Charming and rustic family winery with super vistas of vineyards. The wine tastings were a generous pour and pairing with some local salumi and cheese. Fresh pastry in closing. We were very well received by the owner' s son, informative and cheerful and tasted: Barbaresco Canova 2013, my favorite, raspberry nose, firmness of the tannins. Lovely orange zest finish; Barbera d'Asti Superior 2015, red fruit, medium toast oak barrels and a super extra brut 2015 Alta Langa bread crust and dried fruit scents, well-balanced. Truly a delightful stop..don't miss it.

Highly recommended. We booked the visit to the winery the day before. The owner was very kind and accompanied us with patience and competence on a wonderful journey into wine. Not only information on winemaking methods and aromas, but also a very interesting insight into the "craft" and life of the winery. At the end a rich tasting. 10 euros. Very good, we will be back.
