Our Wine Heritage

Founded in 2000, Terre del Creario is a revival of a family tradition that dates back to the 1920s. Our grandparents cultivated vines in the Alto Canavese region until the 1970s when economic challenges led to a pause in this cherished activity. Fueled by a deep passion for winemaking, we have reestablished our winery, honoring the commitment and respect our ancestors had for the land. Each bottle reflects the dedication and simplicity that define our approach to viticulture.

Situated in Canavese, our winery benefits from a unique microclimate ideal for grape cultivation. Nestled between the stunning landscapes of Piedmont and the Aosta Valley, we are located in Valperga, right at the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park. This picturesque setting not only enhances our wines but also offers breathtaking views of the surrounding nature.

Nearby, the Special Reserve of the Sacro Monte di Belmonte features characteristic terraced vineyards, providing a stunning panorama that stretches all the way to Turin. Just returned from the cellar, beautiful location and excellent wines at a fair price! A visit with tasting is recommended, in our case a white, a rosé and a red accompanied with very good local products.

They don't speak English here, so it was a bit difficult to communicate. But that's more our problem than theirs imo, and the Nebbiolo is amazing.
