Terre Di San Vito, Production of Top-Class Red and White Wines
The history of Terre Di San Vito Winery was started by Gianluca and Lauretta, great-grand-parents of the current owners. The DeNapoli family has strong roots associated with the land, and with great passion and commitment, they produce high-quality Apulian wines, olive oil, and several other food products. Today Giovanni, Elena, and Giacomo manage the administration of the estate and embracing their land and culture, they grow a wide array of grapes. The winery cultivates unique Malbec, Cabernet, and Sauvignon, along with rich-quality Primitivo and Bombino. Terre Di San Vito Winery produces world class red and white wines as well as delicious rosé wines, all under DOC and DOCG status.
Preserving the Culture of the Region
The winery is also a certified producer of extra virgin olive oil, made from unique Coratina olives. The production staff of Terre Di San Vito manually picks their olives, then clean and grind them, followed by crushing to enhance the taste of the extra virgin olive oil. Portrayed by craftsmen of the region, the terracotta jars are the residing place of olive oils. Apart from that, the winery is a well-known grower of colorful Polignano carrots, cultivated on small sandy plots of 10-20 hectares to preserve the hundred-years old culture of the region.
