In the Heart of the Beautiful Marche Wine Region
Perched at the foot of Monti Sibillini National Park, on the Macerata Hills, Terre di Serrapetrona, an agricultural winery, stretches over an area of 66 hectares, out of which vineyards are expanded over a land of 20 hectares. The primary grape variety of the estate is autochthonous Vernaccia Nera, using which they produce high-quality wines, such as Robbione, Collequanto, and Sommo, under the Marche DOC status.
Terre di Serrapetrona Winery follows Wine Treatments in Harmony with Nature
The Graidi family owns the Terre di Serrapetrona winery. With utmost respect to the natural balance, ecosystem, and biodiversity, the winemaking family uses traditional agronomic methods for the production of grapes. Along with Vernaccia Nera, the company cultivates various other native vines, such as Pecorino, Sauvignon, Pinot Nero, and Sangiovese. At Terre di Serrapetrona, the production staff collects the grapes manually, and only the best bunch is stored in the hall, named ‘Fruttaio,’ for natural drying. These vines are left to dry for a month, and then they are moved to the cellar for further processing. Terre di Serrapetrona is an authentic and well-known producer of red and white wines, in combination with top-notch dessert and sparkling wines.
